Ongoing actions by federal, state, and local governments nationwide continue to advise citizens and businesses to sharply limit their activities in order to slow the spread of the Coronavirus and the COVID-19 disease. In light of current circumstances, SEARCH is taking these actions, which will affect our Members, staff, and operations:
- Plans for SEARCH’s 2021 Annual Membership Group Meeting and Symposium on Justice Information Technology, Policy and Research, which will take place July 2021 in St. Louis, MO, are underway. Visit the 2021 Symposium website to submit workshop proposals and sign up to sponsor. We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide event updates as needed. Online Symposium registration will be available soon.
- All SEARCH business staff travel will resume June 1, 2021.
- All SEARCH staff have been authorized and encouraged to work from home through at least May 31, 2021; SEARCH will reopen its office June 1, 2021.
- SEARCH is using a variety of tools that enable and support online meetings, training, technical assistance and conference/workshop presentations.
We are continuing to closely monitor the rapidly evolving nature of the Coronavirus and COVID-2019, and will continue to follow recommendations on prevention and spread of the virus by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
